Our team is a group of friends and passionate creators who genuinely care about helping people form real connections. We come from diverse backgrounds in computer science, data science, design and marketing, but what unites us is our shared belief in making it easier for people to meet and create meaningful memories together. We're just as excited about building SOMI as we are about the impact it can have on real lives.

Our Story

The idea for SoMe came from our own personal experiences with online dating. After using several apps, we realized they often felt shallow and didn’t really help people build genuine, in-person connections. Conversations would fizzle out, and it was hard to take things beyond the screen. We wanted to create something that makes dating easier, more fun, and focused on real-world experiences. SoMe came to life as a way to help people connect over shared interests and events, making it simple to meet someone who truly matches your lifestyle.
